Torrington arrests for March 21, 2018 – The Register Citizen

VIOLATION OF PROBATION: James M. Tripp, 33, of 123 Winthrop St., Torrington, was arrested March 19 and charged with violation of probation and violation of conditional discharge. He was released on $17,500 combined bond and scheduled to appear in court April 2.
POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: Christopher Zakorchevnoy, 37, of 17 Eatheridge, Thomaston, was arrested March 17 and charged with possession of narcotics. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington March 26.
USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Phillip McLellan, 25, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested March 18 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under suspension, use of drug paraphernalia, driving wrong way on one-way street, improper use of marker, operation/tow of unregistered motor vehicle, and illegally operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington March 28.
LARCENY: Irving J. Nieves-Sanchez, 39, of 265 Walnut St., Waterbury, was arrested March 20 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was given a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court April 2.
