Torrington arrests for Jan. 12, 2018 – The Register Citizen

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Shawna M. Marston, 33, of 89 Pearl St., Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from Dec. 17 and charged with second-degree criminal mischief. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 16.
FAILURE TO APPEAR: Thomas McCracken, 30, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with first-degree failure to appear. He was held in lieu of a $2,500 court-set surety bond.
DUI: Cody W. O’Kelly, 30, of 79 Judson St., Woodbury, was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and a speeding infraction. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 22.
FAILURE TO APPEAR: Melissa M. Baresi, 29, of 124 Lincoln Ave., Apartment 2, Torrington, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with second-degree failure to appear. She was given $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 29. Baresi was also arrested Jan. 10, charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under suspension, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 22.
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Jacob M. Reynolds, 18, of 42 Dorothy Drive, Torrington, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with speeding, delivery of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance or more than a half-ounce of marijuana and sale of a controlled substance. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 22.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: Steven M. Lehoux, 27, of 130 Pearl St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 8 and charged with illegal possession of narcotic, sale of certain illegal drugs, use of drug paraphernalia, possession in a school zone and improper turn/stop – signal lamp. He was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 22.
DUI: William J. O’Connor, 60, of 119 Tioga St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 16.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING: Chantel E. Regis, 28, of 121 Birden St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 11 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespassing. She was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 11.
ASSAULT: John W. Rosenbeck, 51, of 46 Pleasant St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, and second-degree threatening. He was held in lieu of a $1,0000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 11.
VIOLATION OF PROBATION: Brandon Driscoll, 22, of 49 Pulver St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with violation of probation. He was held in lieu of a $30,000 court-set surety or cash bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 11.
PROTECTIVE ORDER: Jordan H. DeAngelo, 26, of 249 Litchfield St., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 10 and charged with violation of a protective order – threatening/harassment/assault and first-degree criminal trespassing. He was held in lieu of a $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 11.
ROBBERY: David P. Garceau, 38, of 127 Turner Ave., first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming Sept. 18 and charged with attempt to commit first-degree robbery. He was held in lieu of a $200,000 court-set bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 22.
CRIMNAL MISCHIEF: Trevor L. Hines, 32, of 279 South Main St., Apartment 7, Winchester, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Jan. 12.
