Torrington arrests for Nov. 9, 2017 – The Register Citizen

BREACH OF PEACE: Gerald Williams Jr., 18, of 37 Whiting Ave., Torrington, was arrested Nov. 5 and charged with breach of peace. He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Nov. 13.
ASSAULT: Walter E. Knight, 70, of 34 Washington Ave., first apartment, Torrington, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Nov. 7.
ASSAULT: Michael A. Mills, 54, of 34 Washington Ave., Torrington, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Nov. 7.
BREACH OF PEACE: Jolie Cooper, 58, of 34 Washington Ave., Torrington, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with breach of peace. She was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Nov. 7.
THREATENING: Steve L. Newman, 28, of 21 Pearl St., Apartment 3R, Torrington, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with breach of peace and second-degree threatening. He was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.
ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: Oscarlee Anderson Jr., 48, of 711 East Main St., Apartment B4, Torrington, was arrested Oct. 27 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, improper turn/stop – no signal, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and illegal possession of narcotics – heroin. He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Torrington Nov. 8.
