Torrington arrests for May 25, 2017

DUI: Braulio V. Abreu, 35, of 41 King St., Torrington, was arrested May 18 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence, evading responsibility and improper turn or stop. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on June 2.
PROTECTIVE ORDER: Nicholas Ferrigno, 55, of 113 Sunny Lane, Apartment G2, Torrington, was arrested May 24 and charged with violation of protective order. He was held on $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 24.
ASSAULT: Eric Tubbs, 30, of 113 Sunny Lane, Apartment G2, Torrington, was arrested May 24 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was held on $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 24.
LARCENY: Thomas J. Dufrense, 47, of 24 Central Ave., Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from Jan. 28 and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. He was held on a court-ordered $500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court May 25.
RISK OF INJURY: Jon M. Johnson, 33, of 38 Eagle St., Torrington, was arrested May 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to child. He was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 24.
