Torrington arrests for May 12, 2017

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests:
FAILURE TO RESPOND: Marcos A. Cruz, 25, of 17 Alvord St., Torrington, was arrested May 10 and charged with failure to respond to payable violation. He was held on $1,000 cash only bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 10.
LARCENY: Brandon J. Wilkinson, 25, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested May 9 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 22.
DUI: Angelo J. Alongi, 19, of 148 Hemlock Road, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from March 17 and charged with driving while intoxicated under 21 years old, following too closely and failure to use a seat belt. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court May 22.
FORGERY: Tyrone C. Purcell, 21, of 305 Priscilla Street, Bridgeport, was arrested on a warrant stemming from Jan. 9 and charged with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree forgery. He was held on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
DUI: Jocelyn M. Utrilla, 29, of 63 Litchfield Road, Litchfield, was arrested on a warrant stemming from March 21 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to obey stop sign. She was given $1,000 bond.
FAILURE TO APPEAR: Rachel L. Dedon, 29, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested May 10 and charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear. She was held on $3,000 combined surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 11.
LARCENY: Jesus Ortega-Ulloa, 41, of 22 Person Terrace, Torrington, was arrested May 1 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in court on May 15.
ASSAULT: April L. Macleod, 29, of 82 Lorenzo St., second-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested May 3 and charged with assault of a public safety official and second-degree breach of peace. She was held on $4,000 combined surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on May 12.
BREACH OF PEACE: Rosalind L. Dzurnak, 21, of 14 East Pearl St., third-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from March 19 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and illegal use of facsimile firearm. She was released on a $1,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court May 22.
DUI: Dennis M. Pezze, 68, of 32 Tracy Ave., Tolland, was arrested May 9 and charged with illegal operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to obey stop sign. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 22.
VIOLATION OF PROBATION: Stephen Smulski, 56, of 86 Workman Ave., second floor, Apartment B, Torrington, was arrested May 12 and charged with violation of probation. He was released on a $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on May 22.
