Torrington police recently filed the following charges:
FRANKLIN L. JADAN-ORELLANA, 27, 372 South Main St., second floor, Torrington, driving unreasonably fast, driving with a suspended license, April 15. Released on a promise to appear April 24 in Bantam Superior Court.
NICHOLAS C. SARTORI, 31, 32 South St., Torrington, cruelty to animals, second-degree breach of peace, use of drug paraphernalia, April 16. Released on $7,500 bond.
NICHOLAS D. GIOIELE, 23, 54 Forest St., Torrington, first-degree violation of conditions of release, April 16. Held on $25,000 bond for appearance April 17 in Bantam Superior Court.
WILLIAM J. BAIRD 3rd, 19, 1 Country Farm Lane, New Milford, use of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of narcotics, possession of less than half ounce of marijuana, April 8. Released on a promise to appear April 17 in Bantam Superior Court.
MEGAN A. ARNOTT, 19, 43 Brookside Ave., Apt. 2, Torrington, second-degree breach of peace, violation of protective order, April 16. Released on $1,000 bond pending appearance today in Bantam Superior Court.
NICHOLAS D. GIOIELE, 23, 54 Forest St., Torrington, second-degree breach of peace, violation of protective order, April 16. Released on $1,000 nonsurety bond pending appearance today in Bantam Superior Court.
JEFFREY SABIA, 43, 344 Meyer Road, Torrington, improper turn, evading responsibility, distracted driving, April 15. Issued a misdemeanor summons and released on a promise to appear in Bantam Superior Court on April 24.

BARROS, 23, 37 Maud St., Apt. 2B, Torrington, second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening, interfering with an officer, possession of less than a half ounce of cannabis, April 15.
