Torrington arrests for March 15, 2017

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests:
ASSAULT: Nicholas D. Gioiele, 23, of 54 Forest St. Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from March 7 and charged with second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 13.
FAILURE TO APPEAR: Paul S. Snihatsch, 28, of 166 Funston Ave., second apartment, Torrington, was arrested March 12 and charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear. He was held on $7,500 combined surety bond and scheduled to appear in court March 13.
FIREARM: Jonathan Norwood, 26, of 609 Migeon Ave., Torrington, was arrested Jan. 31 and charged with illegal sale/delivery — prohibited firearm. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 20.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Peter E. Woods Jr., 29, of 22 Alto Road, Burlington, was arrested March 12 and charged with use of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 20.
HALLUCINOGEN/NARCOTIC: Krista C. Rafferty, 28, of 44 East Albert St., Apartment 2W, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with sale of hallucinogen/narcotic, possession of narcotics — heroin, and possession of narcotics — cocaine. She was held on $100,000 court set bond and scheduled to appear in court March 13.
EVADING RESPONSIBILITY: Matthew M. Gulyas, 18, of 220 Scott Drive, Torrington, was arrested March 7 and charged with unsafe backing and evading responsibility — property damage/injury.
BREACH OF PEACE: Robin Bernardi, 38, of 120 Sunny Lane, Apartment D, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with breach of peace. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 14.
FAILURE TO PAY/PLEAD: Joshua M. Wilde, 27, of 723 South Main Street, first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with failure to pay/plead to infraction. He was released on $103 cash bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 27.
STRANGULATION: Arlen Kleinsasser, 28, of 70 Brookside Ave., first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant from March 6 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree strangulation. He was released on $2,500 court set non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 15.
ASSAULT: Michael M. Mitchell, 22, of 57 Doman Drive, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, violation of protective order and third-degree assault. He was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 14.
BREACH OF PEACE: Alyssa A. Dungan, 21, of 362 South Main St., Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 14.
BREACH OF PEACE: Michelle A. Walser, 22, of 539 Main St., Apartment 2, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 27.
ASSAULT: Althea O. Mabayoje, 30, of 70 Brookside Ave., first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from March 6 and charged with third-degree assault. She was given $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 15.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Danielle M. Davis, 33, of 502 Main St., Apartment S1, Torrington, was arrested March 14 and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 15.
DUI: Matthew L. Cianciolo, 52, of 480 Main St., Apartment 11, Winchester, was arrested March 13 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to keep narcotics in original container, illegally operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance and illegal possession of weapon in motor vehicle. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 27.
POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: Teddy Valentin, 46, of 38 Brookside Ave., third-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested March 13 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest and possession in a school zone. He was given $1,500 bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 27.
ASSAULT: A 17-year-old juvenile male was arrested March 23 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He was scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court on March 23.
ASSAULT: Gerald G. Williams, 60, of 39 Whiting Ave., second-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested March 14 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault and second-degree strangulation. He was held on $1,500 cash or surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on March 15.
BREACH OF PEACE: A 14-year-old juvenile female was arrested March 3 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court on March 16.
BREACH OF PEACE: A 12-year-old juvenile female was arrested March 3 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was scheduled to appear in Juvenile Court on March 16.
INTERFERING: Jennifer C. Adamek, 42, of 236 Main St., Apartment C10, Torrington, was arrested March 14 and charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court March 27.
ASSAULT: Nelson L. Roman Jr., 24, of 236 Main St., Apartment C9, Torrington, was arrested March 14 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault — victim elderly or other. He was held on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court.
