Torrington arrests for Dec. 20, 2016

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests:
EVADING RESPONSIBILITY: Mark Donaghy, 36, of 82 Lindberg Street, Torrington, was arrested Dec. 14 and charged with improper right turn and evading responsibility of an accident. He was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 3.
RISK OF INJURY TO CHILD: A 15-year-old male juvenile was arrested Dec. 15 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to child. He was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 22.
UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT: Stephen A. Lomento, 19, of 76 Jardon Street, Torrington, was arrested Dec. 17 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree criminal mischief, and use of drug paraphernalia except less than a half-ounce of marijuana. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 19.
BREACH OF PEACE: Garrett McGurk, 23, of 124 Hoffman Street, second-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested Dec. 19 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Dec. 20.
LARCENY: David W. Casey, 39 of 140B Circle Drive, Bantam, was arrested on a warrant stemming from Nov. 21 and charged with third-degree larceny and issuing a bad check — $500-$1,000. He was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 2.
LARCENY: Brynthia Pierce, 19, of 366 Niles Road, New Hartford, was arrested Dec. 11 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Dec. 19.
