Police Blotter Oct 10 – Register

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests:

BREACH OF PEACE: David Marquis, 47, of 44 Butler St., Torrington, was arrested Oct. 1 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, fourth-degree criminal mischief and being a negligent pedestrian. He was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 11.

POSSESSION: Jolie Cooper, 57, of 34 Washington Ave., first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with possession of narcotics — subsequent offense and failure to use seat belt — front seat. She was held on $1,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 17.

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY: Riccardo L. Iseppi, 90, of 275 Buena Vista Ave., Torrington, was arrested Oct. 1 and charged with evading responsibility and failure to obey stop sign. He was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 11.

BREACH OF PEACE: Kaseem I. Ruiz, 21, of 51 Brightwood Ave., second-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was issued a summons scheduled to appear in court Oct. 10.

ASSAULT: A juvenile, of no address given, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. The person was issued a juvenile summons and scheduled to appear in Torrington Juvenile Court on Oct. 20.

TRESPASSING: Matthew Nichols II, 24, of 89 Squire Hill Road, New Milford, was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with violation of protective order and first-degree criminal trespassing. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 11.

TRESPASSING: Jonathan M. Miles, 24, of 107 East Pearl St., Apartment 2, Torrington, was arrested on a warrant stemming from Aug. 28 and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 24.

FAILURE TO APPEAR: Jennifer L. Mabis, 23, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear. She was held on $6,000 combined court-set bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 11.
