Torrington arrests for Sept. 30, 2016

The Torrington Police Department reported the following arrests:

ASSAULT: Ashley M. Beatrice, 23, of 632 Main St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 27 and charged with third-degree assault. She was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 11.

DUI: Jairo Chimbo, 22, of 39 East Pearl St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and improper turn/stop — no signal. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 3.

LARCENY: Brian J. Bingham, 41, of no certain address, Torrington, was arrested Sept. 21 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 3.

LARCENY: Kimberly Hazzard, 29, of 82 Lorenzo St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 21 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 3.

ASSAULT: Jason N. Fahey, 36, of 30 Maud St., first-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested Sept. 24 and charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault, criminal violation of restraining order, risk of injury to child, second-degree threatening and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. He was held on $2,500 court-set surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Sept. 29.

BREACH OF PEACE: Leslie Gonzales, 21, of 330 Highland Ave., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 28 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Sept. 29.

BREACH OF PEACE: James E. Murray, 41, of 243 North Elm St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 22 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and use/possession of drug paraphernalia — less than a half-ounce of marijuana. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 3.

BREACH OF PEACE: Jeffrey C. Riccitelli, 36, of 21 East Center St., third-floor apartment, Torrington, was arrested Sept. 22 and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 3.

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY: Stanislaw Wiacek, 50, of 108 Wood St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with evading responsibility and improper turn/stop — no signal. He was issued a misdemeanor summons and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 3.

PROTECTIVE ORDER: Mark Mrowka, 35, of 224 East Main St., Torrington, was arrested Sept. 18 and charged with six counts of violation of protective order. He was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Oct. 3.
